”We've found in The Aperitivo Lounge a wonderful community to connect with like-minded people on their own journey to living a fuller life in Italy.”
- Andres & Karen, members of The Aperitivo Lounge
This community is for you if...
You're already here living in Italy but still trying to find your way.
You're in the messy middle, setting things up and figuring it out as you go along.
You’re planning your move and trying to make sense of everything involved.
These stages look different on the surface, but the feeling underneath is almost always the same. You know what you want, you just don't know what to do next.
Inside The Aperitivo Lounge, you'll find members at every stage: people who've navigated what you're facing and others right there beside you. Real answers, real connections and the kind of support that makes this whole thing feel possible.
Here's what my members say
”What I love about the Aperitivo Lounge is that it’s a small community of like minded people supporting each other with vital information everyone needs at one point or another in their quest to live a beautiful life in Italy. It’s so great to have this group just a message away, and the monthly calls are the icing on top! 🎊.”
- Katherine
”I love that it's an opportunity to talk and share with people working towards the same goal. We can share experiences and I like all the helpful tips and "classes" you give us. Its nice to have a bunch of them at the same place instead of getting lost on the Web. I also like the way you see things! :). ”

Ciao, it's me Claire
Most people know me as Ms Britaly.
I moved to South Italy in 2018, solo, in search of a life that felt more balanced. Eight years later, I'm still here and I've spent most of that time sharing the reality of what life in Italy actually looks like.
The Aperitivo Lounge came from my own struggles when I first arrived and it's where I want you to have the support, answers and connections that I had to find the hard way.

Does this sound familiar?
"It will be difficult to move to Italy"
If you've spent time in online 'expat' communities, you know how quickly advice turns into discouragement. Instead of support, you're met with negativity, especially when you share your plans to move to Italy. The thing is it is possible, you just need to educate yourself. Inside The Aperitivo Lounge, you'll find the education and perspective that makes it feel achievable.
"I feel overwhelmed by the process"
Italy is notorious for its bureaucracy and so its no wonder that the process of moving to and setting up your life in Italy, feels so overwhelming. There are specific areas you need to focus on and with the right support, you can absolutely navigate this aspect. The Aperitivo Lounge breaks it down so you always know what to focus on next.
You're not in this alone. The Aperitivo Lounge provides you with the resources and community you need, to prepare, plan and build your life in Italy and form connections with others who have the same goal as you. Life in Italy really is better, together!

”It’s been an absolute joy to find community through the Aperitivo Lounge as well as a sort of “base camp” for the journey to Italy. Though nobody’s path is exactly the same, enjoying each other’s company, experiences, and insights make the adventure feel much more accessible. Claire’s mission to create a sense of collective empowerment and clear understanding is heartfelt and true. I couldn’t be happier to recommend this subscription!”

Here's what my members say
”I'm enjoying this community very much. Everyone is serious about their passion for Italy and realistic about the actual move to Italy and creating a life there. As someone who hasn't yet done it, I'm finding the mix of people in the community able to provide a range of questions and answers. As for Ms. Britaly herself, she is providing a wealth of information, from master classes to news updates, from specific lessons she's learned throughout her time in Italy to a friendly environment to discuss it all.”
- Jennifer
”The benefits of this community are twofold: 1) it's a window, from a distance, into daily Italian life (through the members that already lived there and through you, of course); and 2) it's a support group for the rest of us who are slowly working towards the jump.”
- Paula
