Most people know me as Ms Britaly.

I moved to South Italy in 2018, solo, in search of a life that felt more balanced. Nearly eight years later, I'm still here and I've spent most of that time sharing the reality of what life in Italy actually looks like, both the beautiful parts and the harder ones.

Through my YouTube channel, now home to over 13,000 subscribers, I've heard the same thing over and over. No matter what stage people are at in their dream of moving to Italy, so many of them feel the same way in that they're uncertain, overwhelmed and like they're figuring it all out alone.

The Aperitivo Lounge came from that and from my own struggles when I first arrived. It's the space I wish had existed in 2018 and it's where I want you to have the support, answers and connections that I had to find the hard way.
